anaphylactic sort of way

my legs lose strength
my stomach aches
i get dizzy
weak
forgetful

i love peanut butter in
smoothies blended
with carrot juice
yogurt and bananas

it’s called
a “bugs bunny”

there are
real rabbits

industrial micro-livestock
lops and giants
orphaned newborns
jacks and cottontails

precious little bunnies

my weakness terrifies
me
i hide and gnaw
and bite and run
